Long story short…
Iowa farm girl goes to Creighton U. in Omaha, graduates with Pharm.D. and BS in Bus. Admin. Started my MBA at night during my Pediatric Residency at Minneapolis Children’s Medical Center, but got transferred to Atlanta for work and couldn’t finish it. Poop.
Spent the next 8 years traveling way too much in a sales and marketing capacity for employee benefits firms, insurance and managed care companies, as well as 2 different pharmaceutical labs. I was even an international pharmacy benefits consultant for Towers Perrin for 2 years squeezed in between those jobs! Yikes!
Got fed up, love to write, started studying “copywriting” and web marketing, love language, love to travel, moved to Argentina (Buenos Aires) on a whim!
Started getting serious about writing and building web businesses for US clients while I learned the language and culture of South America by teaching marketing (online and offline), as well as business and financial English to executives and doctors in Argentina.
Started a male modeling agency just for fun, DIG Models – now closed – was wildly successful, then got bored after 2 years, almost got married and then decided on a more relaxed existence and moved to the mountains and lakes of Patagonia at the end of 2005!
Now, I’ve recently relocated back to the US to spend more time with family after spending 10+ years in beautiful Argentina. Due to the nature of my work, I am able to work just about anywhere in the world as long as I have a broadband internet connection. Currently, I work with a lot of clients in the US, as well as Europe.
I’m a direct response web copywriter, web presence optimizer and social marketing specialist. I build lead generation landing pages for my clients, perform my SEO magic and ghostwrite for them if needed. I’ve recently shifted my business to be more “conversion” focused with a huge emphasis on wireframing, intuitive user experience and demographic segmentation to reach a more local and specific market for the products that my clients sell.

Lastly, I work on several of my own pet projects online with regards to teaching Spanish and English, Argentina Wine and Web Marketing Consulting to small businesses. I’m also a Domain Investor and really enjoy this new virtual real estate landscape!
Let’s just say, there is never a dull moment!
